I am a twenty-something Canadian girl ... a small town girl by birth, but my heart was made for the big city. For years, I was convinced that I would move to New York when I graduated from college. I couldn't imagine myself living anywhere else. Eventually, I handed control of my future over to God and told Him that I would happily and willingly fulfill whatever plans He had for me. I have been blissfully and obediently following the Lord's lead ever since. It isn't always easy ... and giving up my plans to move to NYC was *really* hard .... but it's an awesome adventure that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world.
If they handed out awards for the world's biggest dork, I'd definitely be a finalist. I'm the kind of girl who bursts out laughing when I'm sitting alone on the subway because I suddenly remember something funny that happened three weeks ago. I talk to myself all the time. Sentimental commercials often make me cry. When I hear I song that I like, I will listen to it on repeat for HOURS. No joke. In spite of all this, I am blessed with the world's most incredible friends and a crazy awesome family who love me to death.

I ♥ Starbucks. If I’m not enjoying a latte at a cozy coffee shop, chances are I’m at the beach. I'm also in love with cupcakes, cute stationary, vintage chandeliers, flamingos and opera music. I LOVE opera music. Go download Pavarotti's Nessun Dorma and tell me that it is not the most beautiful thing you've ever heard! Being in an opera house is sheer magic for me. I love football. GO TITANS GO! I scrapbook, paint, sew, bake, cook and engage in lots of other fun activities that allow me to make a big mess!
